On a gorgeous golden spring evening, we met up in a wildflower field for their Yukon maternity portraits near their home. Eight months pregnant with their first child, they radiated with joy during their sweet maternity portrait session. Nature makes such a stunning backdrop of course. It was thrilling to find bright yellow sunflowers growing wild in a field near their home. On the other side of the field was tall grains of grass and tall scraggly trees in abundance.

Yukon is a short drive for me, and I’m always excited to find new locations for portrait sessions. A friend who lives in Yukon shared the location of this field with me. So it made it convenient for the three of us. This session feels like all sunshine and relaxing quiet moments together. It was such a joy to photograph their Yukon maternity portraits.
