The outdoors are my happy place. Yup, I’m gonna over-generalize about that statement, but it’s just so true! When traveling, I love to experience a new place with people who live locally. Meeting up with these two for their outdoor adventurous anniversary portraits in Snoqualmie, Washington was an absolute blast.
They are both effortlessly cool, and embody those Pacific Northwest vibes I’m so drawn to. We met up at the upper parking lot at Snoqualmie Falls. We then walked down to the base of the waterfall, stopping to take photos when the moment felt right. The hike down was honestly difficult for my midwest lungs. But they were champs and didn’t hold it against me!
At the bottom, we had the whole area to ourselves. My director role was absolutely not needed, as they just interacted completely naturally for the camera. They’re playful personalities, love of snuggles, and sense of adventure carried us through the session.
