Stunning any time of the year, Martin Nature Park family portraits in Oklahoma City is always a great choice. The park is deceptively large, with many paths and variety to use as backdrops. For these family portraits, we had a whirlwind of a time. This little one was a toddler-shaped hurricane always interested in what’s around the next bend in the trail… which makes Martin Nature Park both a fantastic location for its scenery and variety, and also a possibly too large playground for this one? We all had a blast!
Just 30 minutes??
I am always delightfully surprised and astounded just how many moments can be captured during a 30 minute portrait session! So many sweet, funny, tender, goofy, touching and meaningful moments. I can’t help but think about what I witness in 30 minutes also happens just naturally the other 1410 minutes in a family’s day, and omg just how wonderful is that??
November Martin Nature Park family portraits
We had this Martin Nature Park family portraits in early November, which proved to be perfect. The weather was lovely, in the high 60’s with low wind. Autumn days definitely had greeted the park recently, with mostly bare trees and the land strewn with fallen crunchy leaves. There were still a few peeks of green on the trees, which gives the lovely combination of green, yellow and orange. The family chose warm autumn coordinating colors for their outfits, complimenting the foliage perfectly.
I loved spending the late afternoon chasing this busy toddler, and getting to know this sweet family during the process!
